behind everyone

I am on a delayed timeline, not a failed one. Measured from where I actually started — a new country, on a visa, with a toddler — I am ahead, not behind.

I will compare myself only to who I was yesterday, never to a life I cannot see from the inside.

Every U-turn in my life planted something I am still living on. The US made me an engineer. Nepal gave me Aojaswi and Yuvaan.

I will plan like it matters and hold the outcome loosely, because who I become on the way is the real reward.
